About this Project

K CORP was selected as a design assist partner to provide value through BIM, constructability reviews, prefabrication, improved schedule milestones and cost certainty through a collaborative team approach.

HVAC scope items include (6) Custom Air Handlers, VAV boxes, exhaust fans, air distribution and related ductwork systems. Chilled water piping from existing distribution loop for new air handler cooling coils.

K CORP’s unique coordination and planning for the mechanical connections to the to the existing live systems were critical to the occupied Airport areas along with the new equipment installation in the existing concourse above the passenger pathways. K CORP sequenced the temporary cooling, proper mechanical installation, and split system cooling units for the electrical and IT rooms to maintain minimal impact to the existing facility.
